Everard T. Flygare, age 96, of Annandale died Monday, December 19, 2005 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with visitation from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Everard T. Flygare was born June 5, 1909 in Minneapolis to Herman and Anna (Carlson) Flygare. He married Harriet E. Nordberg August 18, 1945 at South Haven. For 40 years he was a beekeeper producing commercial honey until retiring in 1984. He was a member of and served as vice-president of the American Beekeepers Association, and was a member of the Great Lake Sylvia Association & the PTA.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Harriet of Annandale; three daughters & their husbands, Meredith & James Tompkins of Floyd, VA, Gwenyth & Rev. Mark Oien of Bedford, MA, Paula & Jim Petty of Annandale; eight grandchildren, Jonathan & Matthew Simmons, Joshua, Rayna & Jenny Oien, Nicole, Robert & Thomas Petty; and sister, Margaret Goetzenberger of St. Louis Park. His two brothers, Ellis & Robert preceded him in death.
