Obituary

Eva H. Borman, age 97, of Kimball died Sunday, October 12, 2003 at Hilltop Care Center, Watkins where she has been a resident the past 7 years.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball with Rev. Heather Klason officiating. Burial will follow in the Kimball Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services.

Eva Helen Borman was born January 28, 1906 in Kimball to Homer and Lena (Guptill) Boggs. She married Pete Borman in 1927 and he preceded her in death in 1962. Eva cooked at Kimball Schools from 1942-1947, owned & operated Eva`s CafAC. in Kimball from 1955-1962, and then was a cook & housekeeper in Minneapolis from 1962-1967. She was a member of the Kimball United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed reading and following Minnesota Twins baseball.

She is survived by sons, Jerry & his wife Doris of Morton, Robert & his wife Muriel of Bloomington; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Jack; daughter, Alyce McKinnon; and brothers, Earl, Bernard, & Denny.

The pallbearers will be Leon & Susie Fietek, Gene Boggs, Bruce Dalbec, Darrel Curtis, and Don Sommers.
