Obituary
Eunice M. Olson, age 84, of Brainerd died Thursday, February 17, 2005 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Brainerd.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 21, 2005 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. David Doppenberg officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, French Lake Township, Wright County. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the Church. Memorials are preferred to St. John's Lutheran Church World Hunger Fund.
Eunice Marjorie Olson was born September 23, 1920 in Minneapolis to Edward and Mary (Hurley) Nelson. She married Einer Olson December 29, 1943 in Minneapolis and he preceded her in death in 1944 during World War II while serving in the U.S. Navy. She worked in accounting for Northwestern Bell Telephone, Minneapolis for 35 years and has lived in Brainerd the past 5 years.
She is survived by a sister, Betty Thesing & her husband, Joseph of Brainerd and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, twin brother, Harland, sisters, Laverne Johnson, Elaine Kalliokoski, & Audrey Gilmer, step brother, Raymond Olson, niece, Jolena Beeson, and nephew, Joe Thesing, Jr.
The pallbearers will be Arthur Johnson, Raymond Duquenne, Timothy Engle, Chuck Thesing, Kenneth Olson, and Grady Gilmer. The music for the service will be provided by Orma Lou Jacobsma, organist and Rev. David Doppenberg, soloist. The arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
