Ethel M. Sunderland, age 91, of Annandale, formerly of Crystal, died Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Buffalo Hospital.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 14 with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. Visitation will also be one hour prior to Funeral Services held 2 p.m. Thursday, October 16 at the Hinchliff-Pearson West Chapel, Galesburg, Illinois. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens of Galesburg.
Ethel Marion Sunderland was born July 7, 1917 in Galesburg, IL to Ossian & Beda (Karlsson) Linner. She married William Sunderland on December 30, 1934 in Galesburg and he preceded her in death on November 3, 1977. She was a homemaker and did nametag engraving work from her home. She was a former member of Elim Lutheran Church, Robbinsdale and enjoyed playing bingo & casino games.
She is survived by her two sons, Jack & his wife Phyllis of South Haven, Gerry of St. Michael; 4 grandchildren, Charlotte, James, Terry, & Samantha; and 6 great grandchildren, Holli, Michael, Amber, Garrett, Nicholas, & Zachary. She was preceded in death by her husband, and infant sister, and sisters, Lillian Lewis & Mae Hopping.
The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care and Hinchliff-Pearson West Chapel.
