Esther M. Wadman, age 96, of Annandale died Saturday, December 10, 2005 at the Annandale Care Center.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at St. John`s Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. David Doppenberg officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services at the church. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Monday.
Esther Margret Wadman was born June 12, 1909 in Rugby, ND to Julius and Hilda (Westby) Ruud. She married Ray E. Wadman in 1929 and he preceded her in death in 1975. She was a homemaker, a member of St. John`s Lutheran Church, WELCA, and the Alter Guild. She enjoyed her grandchildren, birthday clubs, card playing, sewing gardening, cooking, baking, and ceramics.
She is survived by her ten children & their spouses, Donald & Janith of Cloquet, Marilyn Lundquist of Williams, OR, Marlys & Charles of Brainerd, Gene & Eleanor of Maple Lake, Dennis & Sharon of Coon Rapids, Mary & Ronald Meyer of Maple Plain, Carol & Robert Muller of Annandale, Patricia & Jerome Hoikka of Hutchinson, Larry & Christine of Annandale, Lanny & Joyce of Annandale; 31 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. Her husband, son in laws, Robert DeVore & Calvin Lundquist, a great granddaughter, sister, Alvilda Auran, and brothers Alfred & Henry preceded her in death.
The pallbearers will be Michael, Mark, Peter & Tyler Wadman, Thomas Lundquist, John Zelenak, Camille Wadman Day, Jeffrey Meyer, Kevin DeVore, and Bradley Hoikka.
The arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
