Elizabeth "Betty" Adolph, age 68, of Kimball died Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Hilltop Care Center, Watkins after a short battle with cancer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Kimball with Fr. Tom Olson officiating. Burial will follow at St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball. There will be a prayer service at 5 p.m. Friday.
Elizabeth "Betty" Louise Adolph was born June 16, 1943 in St. Cloud to Clarence and Myrtle (Moreau) Zanoth. She was a 1961 graduate of Cathedral High School and married John "Jack" Adolph on September 23, 1967 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church, St. Cloud. She worked at Holes Webway until spending her time at home while raising her children. Then she worked for Gohmann Foods, Kimball for 25 years and at the same time was the St. Anne's Parish Secretary. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, bowling, sewing and spending time with her friends & family especially her granddaughter Emily.
She is survived by her husband John "Jack" of Kimball, children Lynn of Kimball, Amy (Dale) Seiffert of Brooklyn Park, Karla of Kimball, John of Kimball, granddaughter Emily Seiffert, mother Myrtle Zanoth of St. Cloud, sisters Nancy Antolik of Ramsey, Shirley (Cliff) Dahl of Kimball, brothers Clarence (Judy) Zanoth of Sauk Rapids, Jim Zanoth of Sauk Rapids, also several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Clarence Zanoth and sisters Donna Jacobs & Sandy Zanoth.
The pallbearers will be Ray & Jerry Adolph, Dana & Shannon Dahl, and Avery & Kyle Zanoth. The music for the service will be provided by Frosty Schiefelbein, organist and the St. Anne's Choir. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
