Elizabeth L. Harden, age 67, of St. Cloud died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February, 16, 2012 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. Steven Hoffman as the Celebrant. Burial will follow at the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call from 9-10:15 a.m. Thursday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake.
Elizabeth Lucille Harden was born September 25, 1944 in Maple Lake to Willard and Elsie (Varner) Rassat. She graduated from Maple Lake High School with the Class of 1962 and went on to graduate from St. Cloud Beauty College. Betty owned and operated The Villager in Maple Lake and Elizabeth Harden Hairstyling in St. Cloud before retiring from JC Penny's Hair Salon in St. Cloud. She was united in Marriage to Willard Wayne Harden in Rice. Betty enjoyed cooking, reading, writing, fishing, camping, drawing, traveling, dancing, crafts, music, fashion, holidays and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Muller of Phoenix, AZ; step children Tim (Paulette) Harden of Rice and Tammy Harden of St. Cloud; grandchildren Ashley Harden and Angel Vogal; sisters Shirley Otten of Buffalo and Phylis Gutzwiller of Osseo; and sister in law Muriel Rassat. She is preceded in death by her parents Willard & Elsie Rassat; husband Wayne Harden; and brothers Clarence, Walter, Harold "Bud" and Ralph "Buck" Rassat.
The Urn Bearer will be Bob Rassat. Monica Hamling and Sarah Goelz will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.
