Eleanore M. Wallace, age 100, of Annandale, formerly of Hopkins, died Sunday,  March 15, 2015 at her residence.

Private services will be held with interment at Calvary Cemetery in Forest Lake, Minnesota.

Eleanore Muriel Wallace was born October 22, 1914 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Joseph and Lillian (Johnson) Berry. She grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from West High School. She then furthered her education by attending the Minnesota School of Business. Eleanore was united in marriage to Gordon Wallace on August 31, 1935. He preceded her in death in September of 1986. Over the years, Eleanore worked as a legal secretary working for various attorneys, judges and the mayor in the Hopkins area. Eleanore resided in Hopkins for a majority of her life, until recently moving to Annandale.

She is survived by her children, Sandra (Don) McDonald of Annandale and Gary Wallace of Golden Valley; grandchildren, Greg Wallace, Elizabeth Wallace, Jackie (Dave) Gonyea and Paul (Sandie) Chevalier; and 10 great grandchildren. Eleanore is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon.
