Elaine E. Silcox, age 89, of Buffalo formerly of St. Paul died Friday, November 7, 2003 at Ebenezer Covenant Village in Buffalo.
Memorial mass will be 12:00 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2003 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Father Roger Pierre officiating. A private family inurnment will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Roseville. A gathering of friends will take place at the church following the mass.
Elaine Elizabeth Silcox was born December 31, 1913 at Clearwater to Harry and Elizabeth (Daly) Muckle. She lived in St. Paul most of her life before moving to Buffalo five years ago. Elaine was a loving mother and leaves a number of wonderful friends she made during her 30 plus years with the St. Paul Companies.
Elaine is survived by two daughters, Sue Burke and Elaine (Daniel) Gephart both of Annandale; grandchildren, Michael (Sara) Gephart of St. Paul, Elizabeth (Phillip) Trout of Faribault, Robert Burke, Jr. of Tipton, IA, Kenneth Burke of New York and Terrence (Lisa) Burke of Andover; great grandchildren, Jayne Elaine and Jack Gephart, Megan and Lauren Trout, Aundrea and Ryan Burke, Rachel, Bridget, Connor and Lily Burke; and many loved nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by son, William; son in law, Robert Burke; granddaughter, Patricia Gephart; brothers, Dayton and William Muckle. Her family would like to express its love and heartfelt thanks to the staff at Lake Ridge Manor and Ebenezer Covenant Village for their loving care of Elaine.
Memorials are preferred to Friendship Ventures, Lake Ridge Manor, or donors choice.
