Obituary
Edwin K. Mattila, age 83, of Annandale died Thursday, October 23, 2003 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, Sauk Rapids.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 27, 2003 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with Rev. James Brown officiating. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery, New York Mills. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
Edwin Kenneth Mattila was born August 4, 1920 in Kingston Township, Meeker County to Matt and Ida (Raunakaski) Mattila. He served during WW II in the U.S. Army and was a farmer.
He is survived by his sister in law, June Mattila of Annandale; four nephews & their wives, Floyd & Mary Lou of South Haven, Allan & Carol of Annandale, Steven of Annandale, Gaylan & Debra of Willmar; and one niece, Diane Pritchard & her husband, Randy of South Haven. Edwin`s three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
