Edward A. Schultz, age 75, of South Haven died Monday, August 1, 2005 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 4, 2005 at St. John`s Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. D.J. Lura officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services at the church. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Edward Arthur Schultz was born August 20, 1929 at Annandale to Albert and Minnie (Hinz) Schultz. He married Mary E. Harper July 5, 1952 in Carlton. Eddie enjoyed farming, doing so based in Southside Township, Wright County his entire lifetime. He also was employed by Northland Concrete Co., Burnsville for 35 years and Lakedale Telephone Co., Annandale for 5 years. He was a member of Cement Finisher`s Union Local & St. John`s Lutheran Church and was a former member of St. John`s Church Board & Annandale School District #876 Board of Education. Eddie and Mary enjoyed their traveling together.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of South Haven; children & their spouses, Marilyn & James Hallstrom of South Haven, David & Catherine Schultz of Bemidji; sisters, Annie Quick of St. Paul, Emma Skrypez of Bloomington, Agnes (Ronald) Michaelis of Monticello; sister in law, Ethelyn Schultz of Annandale, brother in law, Kenneth Rudolph of South Haven; 5 grandchildren, Meggan, Jessica, Mitchell, Mackenzie & Nicholas; and step grandson, Kyle. His brother Louis and sister Sadie Rudolph preceded him in death.
The pallbearers will be Barry Schultz, Herschuel Howell, Arnold Gruys, John Roasch, Robert Bluhm and Donald Daniels. The music for the service will be provided by Rev. David Nelson & Beverly Sorenson, vocalists and Orma Lou Jacobsma, organist. The arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
