Obituary
Mr. Edward W. Hoefer, age 85, of Kimball died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at the Hilltop Care Center, Watkins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2005 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Kimball with Father David Grundman officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball. There will be a 6 p.m. prayer service Sunday.
Edward William Hoefer was born February 28, 1920 in Brooten to Edward A. and Anna C. (Mertens) Hoefer. He lived most of his adult life in the Kimball area where he owned various small businesses. Edward was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Kimball and enjoyed flying, hunting, fishing, and his rock and coin collections.
Edward is survived by his brother, LeRoy (Sandra) of St. Joseph; sisters, Elaine Lechner of St. Cloud, Lucille (Bernard) Kunkel of Mapleton, and Donna Tschumperlin of Ramsey; sister in law, Anita Hoefer of Kimball; and many nieces; and nephews. A sister, Marcella Stenger; and brothers, Mickey and Kenny, preceded him in death.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care, Kimball.
