He was baptized and confirmed at the Church of St. Anthony in Watkins. He graduated with the Class of 1960 from St. Boniface in Cold Spring. Earl honorably served his country in the United States Army. On June 9, 1964, Earl was united in marriage to Barbara Ziehl at St. Anthony in St. Cloud. His connection with the earth and the cycles of nature brought him peace and fulfillment. In his free time Earl enjoyed farming, farming, and farming some more. After retiring from farming, Earl went to work for Schlauderaff Implement in Litchfield.
