Dorothy E. Olean, age 92 of Annandale died Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Annandale Care Center.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2011 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. Dave Nelson officiating.  Burial will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.  Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel & 1 hour prior to the services, Friday at the church.  A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Dorothy Ellen Olean was born February 26, 1919 in Albion Township to Alfred and Etta (McClay) Triplett.  She graduated from Annandale High School.  On May 25, 1939, she was united in marriage in Albion Township to Clarence Oscar Olean.  Together, they farmed and raised their family in Albion Township.  Dorothy was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale.  She enjoyed quilting, gardening, sewing and bird watching.  Her greatest love was for her family.

She is survived by her two children & their spouses, Donald & Sherry Olean of Annandale and Cheri & Howie Walberg of Annandale; five grandchildren & their spouses, Mark & Barb Olean, Melissa & Adam Perry, Melanie & Jared Frederick, Kipp & Carey Walberg and Kirk & Kristi Walberg; seven great grandchildren, Trevor and Tanner Olean, Carter Perry, Beck, Merritt, Ethan and Ava Walberg; and a sister & her husband, Geraldine & Don Nelson of Annandale.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Etta Triplett; husband, Clarence in 1988; great grandson, Daniel Clarence Olean; and sister, Beatrice Marohn.

Pallbearers will be Kipp and Kirk Walberg, Adam Perry, Jerad Frederick, Trevor and Tanner Olean.  Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Olean, Melissa Perry, Melanie Frederick, Barb Olean, Carey Walberg and Kristi Walberg.  Orma Lou Jacobsma and Bev Sorensen will provide the music for the service.  Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care.
