Dorothy (Dee) Harnett, age 93, of 11064 Hoyer Ave NW, Annandale died Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at her home on Sugar Lake.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2007 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services on Monday. Memorials are preferred to Camp Friendship, Annandale.
Dorothy Mae Harnett was born May 14, 1914 in Minneapolis to Enos & Edna (Bovert) Ashley. She was a homemaker and prior to 1980 lived in St. Louis Park. Dorothy was a member of a local Art Club, Camp Friendship Auxiliary and Annandale Improvement Club. She enjoyed shopping, Asian artwork, painting, traveling, gardening, bird watching and being on the lake.
Survived by husband, Drake Douglas of Annandale; children, Kelly Douglas of Cottage Grove, Kari Castano of Red Wing, Robin & Cathie Rockney of Colorado, Janet Harnett of Atlanta, GA, Patricia & Mark Harrington of Marietta, GA, Maurice (Gabbi) & Barbara Harnett of Roseville, Bob & Kristin Harnett of Plymouth; 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husbands, Maurice J. Harnett, Jr. and Ernest R. (Hy) Schultz.
