Doris Frances Pribyl, age 86, formerly of Maple Lake died Saturday, March 11, 2006 at the Annandale Care Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2006 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Father Mark Huberty and Deacon Ron Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Ted Mavencamp, Michael Kronquist, Chad, Jeff, Mary and Ryan Pribyl. The Resurrection Choir and Randy Mavencamp will provide music. Friends may call 3:30 p.m.-8 p.m. on Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. The Lady Foresters will pray the rosary at 3:30 p.m. and there will be a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Doris Frances Pribyl was born July 19, 1919 in Maple Lake to George and Mary (Geary) Elsenpeter. She taught country school for 4 years before marrying John A. 'Jack' Pribyl on June 15, 1943 in Maple Lake. She was a homemaker who loved her faith, family, and friends. Doris enjoyed cooking, dancing, traveling, gardening, and did lots of volunteering. She was a member of St. Timothy's Catholic Church, National Catholic Society of Foresters, Council of Catholic Women, and the Maple Lake Home Extension Group.
Doris is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Jack of Annandale; sons, John (Barb) of Maple Grove, George of Golden Valley, Fred (Nancy) of Pensacola, FL, Ted (Angie) of Maple Lake; daughters, Marie (Randy) Mavencamp of Maple Lake, and Margi (Kevin) Kronquist of Maple Lake; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Susan; infant great granddaughter, Kesha Marie Mavencamp; sister, Margaret Pribyl; and brother, Robert.
