Doris A. Anderson, age 83, of Albertville, formerly of Maple Lake, died Thursday, June 30, 2022, at her home surrounded by the love of her family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2022, at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. John Meyer as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Friday, both at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. The service will be live-streamed on the funeral home website. Doris Ann Demarais was born February 13, 1939, in Maple Lake, Minnesota to Vincent and Viola (Fobbe) Demarais. Doris grew up and attended school in Maple Lake. She graduated with the Class of 1957. On June 14, 1958, Doris was united in marriage to John A. Anderson at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Maple Lake. In addition to providing a loving home for her three children, Doris also worked as a bookkeeper for Carlson Dolls for 27 years. Doris was a member of the CCW, as well as the Maple Lake Legion Auxiliary. Doris enjoyed traveling with John and spending winters down in Arizona. She also liked to play cards or spend time outdoors camping, playing a round a golf or shuffleboard. Even though she claimed to not like to play bingo, Doris played bingo. She also had a hard time passing by a garage sale and not stopping to search for treasures. Above all, Doris treasured the time she spent with her family. Doris is survived by her children, Connie (Mark) Arrington of Buffalo and Ron Anderson (friend Joannie Adams) of Longmont, CO; daughter-in-law, LaReycia Anderson of Cheyenne, WY; 5 grandchildren Ryan (Andrea) Smith, Rachel (Daniel) Gagnon, Kyle (Annie) Smith, Breanne (Randy) Burtis and Ashley (Brett) Siclair; 12 great-grandchildren Alivia, Kate, Josie, Brady, Paige, Abby, Bailly, Harper, Audrey, Easton, Maxwell, and Finlay; brother-in-law, Richard Kuechle; and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Viola; husband, John; son, Mike; and sister, Colleen Kuechle. Dan Gagnon, Kyle Smith, Ryan Smith, Terry McNamara, Mike Goelz, and Kenny Kuechle will serve as casket bearers.
