Obituary
Doris I. Bartosiewski, age 82 of South Haven died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church, Annandale. Rev. Thomas Queck will officiate and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church. A prayer service will be held 6:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Doris Iva Bartosiewski was born November 16, 1926 in Santiago to Guy and Iva (Bresse) Keeler and was adopted by Theodore and Alice (Keeler) Perske. She married Leonard Bartosiewski on November 19, 1948 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sauk Rapids and he preceded her in death on March 26, 1978. Doris worked in housekeeping at Beecher's Resort on Clearwater Lake from 1958-1964, drove escort cars for Modern Homes, St. Joseph from 1965-1976 and worked in the office for Bartley Supply, St. Cloud from 1979-1991 and she has been a Foster Grandparent at Bendix Elementary School since 1991. Doris was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Annandale where she was active in the Altar Guild, Sunday School and Fellowship Club.
She is survived by her children, Eileen Langbehn of Desert Hot Springs, CA, Elaine (Jerry) Baazard of Blackduck and Ronald of South Haven; brothers and sisters, Leone Batson of Gardner, KS, Earl Keeler of Sauk Rapids, Evelyn Simms of North Branch and Marion Maciej of Sauk Rapids; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Thomas, Marvin and George Keeler; and son-in-law, Gene Langbehn.
Pallbearers will be Randy Baazard, Ryan Aldrich, Richard Mueller, Garrett Isaacson, Gerald Butler and Jonathan Nelson. Kathy Queck, organist will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
