Doreen M. Brunsell, age 77, of 9701 Jeske Ave. NW, Annandale died Thursday, April 27, 2006 at the St. Cloud Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2006 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with Deacon Ron Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel in Annandale. There will be a prayer service 6 p.m. Sunday.
Doreen Mary Brunsell was born September 16, 1928 in St. Wendell Township, Stearns County to Peter and Mary (Rooney) Jennis. She married Marvin C. Brunsell on April 18, 1951 in Davenport, Iowa. Doreen was a homemaker and a member of the Annandale Snowmobile Club & Clearwater American Legion Post #323 Auxiliary. She enjoyed swimming, water skiing, dancing, sunsets over Clearwater Lake, and golf while spending the past 13 winters in Palm Desert, CA, a place she truly loved.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin of Annandale; daughter, Susan Williams & her husband Robert of Somerset, WI; sisters, Bernice Brugos of St. Petersburg, FL, Pauline Jennis of Annandale, Lillian Wichman of St. Louis Park, & Ellen Jane Thurber of Annandale. Her brother, Ernest Jennis preceded her in death.
The pallbearers will be Bob Jackson, Jim & Erick Achman, Scott Thurber, Jim Premus and Robert Williams. The arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
