Obituary
Donna Mae Walkley, age 79 of South Haven died Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Centennial Villa in Annandale.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Kimball with Fr. Thomas Olson celebrating the mass. Burial will follow at Maine Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, Wednesday, at the church.
Donna Mae Walkley was born July 24, 1931 in St. Cloud to Bernard and Frances (Fladung) Evans. She graduated from Cathedral High School in St. Cloud with the class of 1949. On June 30, 1951, Donna was united in marriage to James Edgar Walkley in Waite Park. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Kimball. Donna enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and watching the Minnesota Twins.
She is survived by her daughter Nancy Gunnerson & her husband, Kevin of South Haven, son in law Michael Hunt of South Haven, sister Viola Gohman of Waite Park, brother LeRoy Evans & his wife, Sue of Waite Park, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Frances and Bernard, husband James on December 26, 2000, daughter Lanette Hunt, son Dale Walkley, grandson Jesse Lee Gunnerson, and brother Donald Evans.
Urn Bearers will be Scott Gunnerson and David Hunt. Frosty Schiefelbein, organist, and the St. Anne's Choir will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Kimball.
