Donna M. Carriveau, age 62, of Maple Lake died Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2006 at St. Timothy`s Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. Mark Huberty officiating. Burial will follow in St. Timothy`s Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:30-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Sunday.
Donna Marie Carriveau was born January 14, 1944 in Minneapolis to Stanley and Lillian (Jindrich) Muther and graduated from Hopkins High School in 1962. She married Thomas A. Carriveau on April 20, 1963 in Minneapolis and they lived in Minnetonka until moving to their home on Maple Lake in 1976. She was a seamstress, owning & operating Creations by Donna and was a member of St. Timothy`s Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, fishing, the Lake, flower gardening, sewing, quilting, crocheting, knitting and crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas of Maple Lake; sons & their wives, Richard & Deborah of Mayer, James & Chrysann of Monticello, John & Amber of Elk River, Scott of Maple Lake; sister, Shirley (Charles) Randolph of California; 12 grandchildren, Anthony, Megan, Caitlin, Thomas, Samantha, Ashley, Rachel, Michael, Morgan, Arianna, Emmalee and Mark. She was preceded in death by her parents, father & mother in law, Harry & Marguerite and sister, Dorothy.
The pallbearers will be her four sons and grandchildren, Ashley & Anthony. The music for the service will be provided by Krista Elsenpeter Tarbox, organist and Sarah Goelz, soloist. The arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Maple Lake.
