Mr. Donald Lemm, age 81, of Maple Lake died Friday, November 25, 2005 at home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at St. Timothy`s Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Father Mark Huberty officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Monday.
Donald Lemm was born September 16, 1924 in New Munich to Wendelin and Helen (Adrian) Lemm. He served his Country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Donald married Mary P. Foster on November 24, 1952. He worked for the Soo Line Railroad for 38 years retiring in 1988. Donald lived in New Hope prior to moving to the Maple Lake area in 1966. He was a member of St. Timothy`s Catholic Church, Maple Lake, Father O`Brien`s Council Knights of Columbus#3613, and the Maple Lake VFW Post # 7664. Donald loved his family, church, fishing, hunting, gardening, and garage sales.
Donald is survived by his wife Mary of Maple Lake; daughters, Colleen (Ed) Anderson of Zimmerman and Kathy (Alan) Loch of Monticello; sons, John (Cynthia) of Big Lake and Dan of Monticello; sister, Evelyn Sakry of St. Cloud; brother, Jerome (Bernie) of New Munich; 17 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
Brother Aaron Loch, LC will do the readings and Sarah Goelz will provide the music. The pallbearers will be Keith, Nicholas & Timothy Anderson, Andrew & Thomas Lemm, Michael, Jeremy & Ryan Loch.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.
