Donald C. Jude, age 92, of Andover formerly of Maple Lake died Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Unity Hospital in Fridley.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2011 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. Michael Izen officiating. Interment will be at St. Timothy's Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 8:30-9:15 a.m. Saturday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 5 p.m. Friday.
Donald Charles Jude was born July 15, 1919 at Maple Lake to Joseph and Mary C. (Brun) Jude. He married Margaret Kotilinek August 17, 1940 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church and she preceded him in death on November 7, 1997. He was a farmer and then promoted more development in Maple Lake with housing and commercial lots on his land. He was a member of St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Maple Lake and St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka.
He is survived by his companion Genevieve of Andover, children Douglas Jude of Sylacauga, AL, Robert (Helen) Jude of Maple Lake, Marilyn (Steve) Fobbe of Maple Lake, daughter in law Myrna Jude of Annandale, 12 grandchildren Neal, Bobby, Bill, Mark, David & Brent Jude, Matt & Nick Fobbe, Becky Pribyl, Denise Yuker, Dana Dagen, & Kate Rassat, and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, son Kenneth, brothers Fred, Clarence, Francis, & Marvin, and sisters Catherine Munstenteiger & Magdeline Bihl.
The pallbearers will be his grandsons, the honorary pallbearers will be his granddaughters. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Maple Lake.
