Don Frappier, age 69, of Annandale died Friday, April 4, 2008 at his home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday and 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Monday. Memorials are preferred.
Donald Francis Frappier was born October 7, 1938 in Maple Lake to Oliver and Laverne (Weege) Frappier. He graduated from Annandale High School in 1956 and from 1961-1963 served his Country as a member of the U.S. Army. He married Barbara Patnode Olsen on December 31, 1993 and for many years was an automobile & bus mechanic for Rockford School District 883 retiring 4 years ago. He was a member of St. Ignatius Church. He loved camping, cars, and spending time with his friends & family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Barb of Annandale; children, Jen Jones & husband Scott of Annandale, Justin Olsen & his fiancAC. Mary of Cokato; two grandchildren, Xavier & Varner Jones; brothers, James (Lynnae) of Annandale, Loren of South Haven, Richard (Jayne) of Fair Haven, and Robert of Annandale. His parents and brother Jerry preceded him in death.
The pallbearers will be Scott, Tim, & Tina Frappier, Derek & Darin Patnode, and Joe Blum. The honorary pallbearers will be Ellis Knute, Norm Schnider, Mark Bartos, and Jerome Sopkowiak. Sarah Goelz will provide the music for the service and the arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
