Obituary
Mrs. Dolores A. Spielmann, age 85, of Maple Lake died Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at Park View Care Center, Buffalo.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2006 at St. Timothy`s Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Father Mark R. Huberty officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Friday and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Dolores Agnes Spielmann was born on January 21, 1921 in Minneapolis to Richard and Anna (Murlowski) Hallman. She married Michael J. Spielmann on October 30, 1943 in Minneapolis and he preceded her in death on June 9, 1994. She was a homemaker and also worked at Northwestern National Bank, Minneapolis. Dolores has lived in Maple Lake since 1962 where she was a member of St. Timothy`s Catholic Church and Council of Catholic Women. She loved her faith, family, friends, cooking, gardening, needlework, and her lake home on Sugar Lake.
Dolores is survived by her children and their spouses, Pat (Al) Elsenpeter of Maple Lake, Bill (Mary) of Maple Lake, Mary Ann (Pat) Smith of Sauk Rapids, Joann (Dan) Schmit of Becker, Michele (Bob) Fobbe of Maple Lake, John (Jane) of Maple Lake, and Marnie (Sean) O`Byrne of Richfield; sister in law, Virginia Hallman of Coon Rapids; 24 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. Her brother, George, preceded her in death.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jeffrey, Stephen, Thomas, Paul and Dominic Elsenpeter, Eric Spielmann, Tim, Shannon and Patrick Smith, Ryan Schmit, Bobby Jr. and Luke Fobbe, Matthew and Nathan Spielmann. Music for the funeral provided by Krista Tarbox, Sarah Goelz and Joe Thomas.
