Diane M. Heid, age 57, of REM Central Lakes , 1005 Bridgeport Drive , Sartell died Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the Hilltop Care Center , Watkins.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2011 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Kimball with Fr. Tom Olson officiating. Burial will follow at St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery .

Diane Marie Heid was born November 10, 1953 in St. Cloud to the late Gerald and LaVerna (Heinen) Heid. Diane was a resident at REM group home from March 1989 until present. She participated in activities at WACOSA in Waite Park and enjoyed the outdoors, shoveling snow, strolling her dolls, car rides, swings, shopping at Target, music, magazines and playing in her sandbox. Diane enjoyed the staff at REM and her REM family.

The family would like to acknowledge the staff at REM, WACOSA, and Hilltop Care Center .

She is survived by her thirteen brothers and sisters Donald of Kimball, Roland (Gale) of Dassel, John (Mary Ann) of Watkins, Linda (Ron) Plamann of Kimball, Peter of Kimball, Paul of Kimball, Mary Heid (Dan Strohmeier) of Watkins, Marlene (Tom) Konz of Pearl Lake, Cindy (Steve) Geislinger of Watkins, Elaine (Mark) Beehler of St. Cloud, Jackie Heid (Richard Woehnker) of Elk River, Jerry Jr. of Carrington, ND, Janet (James) Krasowski of Minnetrista, step mother Regina (Lust) Heid of Waite Park, six step siblings, and many nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers will be Diane's brothers and honorary pallbearers will be Diane's sisters. The music for the service will be provided by Frosty Schiefelbein, organist and the St. Anne's Choir. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
