A prayer service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church.

Diana Mae Norgren was born December 22, 1942 in Willmar, Minnesota to Robert and Dorothy (Soine) Berglund. After her father died at a young age, Diana was raised by her mother and step-father, Merle Peterson. Diana grew up in rural Kandiyohi County where she attended area schools. They eventually settled in the Dassel area, where Diana graduated from high school in 1960. Following graduation, she went to work in Minneapolis for a bank and telephone company. On October 5, 1963 Diana was united in marriage to Dellas Ellsworth Norgren in Dassel. Diana worked for various furniture stores, such as Dayton's, Countryside Furniture in Dassel and Hoye's in St. Cloud. Even though she worked out of the home at various jobs, being a wonderful mom, wife, and grandma was always Diana's top priority. Diana and her sister, Sandy, owned and operated Latte Da Coffee Shop in Dassel and she most recently worked at Very Vintage in Litchfield. Her faith was important to her and she was an active member of Lake Union Covenant Church where she was part of the Covenant Women, past choir director, and helped with the interior design of the new addition. In her spare time, Diana enjoyed knitting, reading, tending to her gardens, cross country skiing, shopping, and collecting dolls. She also liked to travel. Diana relished the time she was able to spend with her family and friends, whether it be hosting gatherings or attending her grandchildren's sporting events and activities. Diana wore many hats over the years and her many loving attributes that are so hard to put into words will be dearly missed by many.

Diana is survived by her husband of 52 years, Dellas of South Haven; children, Rory (Kim) Norgren of Annandale and their children, Gatlin, Cody, Dillon, and Calisha; Shawn (Lori) Norgren of South Haven and their children, Rachael (Derek) Desens, their son Sebastian Desens, Larinda, and Ericka;  Holly (Tony) Ward of Annandale and their children, Gabrielle, Benjamin, and Brody; Barin (Colleen) of Annandale and their children, Isaac, Anika and Evan; and Peter (Jodi) of Annandale and their children, Hunter, Mackenzie and Sydney; siblings, Dennis (Carole) Berglund, Sandy (John) Crayford, Judy (Clarence) Schmitz, and Dale (Ivonne) Peterson all of Dassel; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. Diana was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Betty Thorkelson, and niece, Julie Schmitz.

Gatlin, Cody, Dillon, Hunter, Isaac, Evan Norgren, Benjamin and Brody Ward will serve as pallbearers. Rachael Desens, Gabrielle Ward, Larinda, Ericka, Calisha, Anika, Mackenzie and Sydney Norgren will serve as the honorary pallbearers. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Ananndale.
