Services will be at a later date for Devin G. Abbott, age 23, of Apple Valley who died Monday, February 28, 2011 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
Devin Gregory Abbott was born January 12, 1988 in Minneapolis. He was a 2006 Special Education Graduate of Eastview High School, Apple Valley and from 2006-2009 received Pathways training. Devin was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins. He lived the past ten years at REM Pony Group Home in Apple Valley and his family sincerely thanks all the young adults & staff that made this home for Devin & who cared so lovingly for him. Devin's organs were donated through LifeSource.
He is survived by his mother Patty Abbott, sister Ashley Abbott both of St. Paul, aunts & uncles Sandy Abbott of Clinton, Mavis (Larry) Miller of Sauk Rapids, Bob (Bev) Abbott of Mound, Gary Abbott (Irene Pfleuger) of Kimball, close family friend Joy Lauterbach of Shoreview, father Greg Carufel of St. Paul, and many cousins. His grandparents Melba & Monroe Abbott and uncle Bill Abbott preceded him in death.
