Throughout his life, Charlie found joy in simple pleasures. A devoted enthusiast of television, he held a special fondness for "Sesame Street," with Bert and Ernie being his favorites, often seen collecting memorabilia that celebrated these beloved characters. Equally, he found excitement and camaraderie competing with fellow athletes in the Special Olympics, celebrating his achievements and the friendships formed along the way. Charlie is survived by his siblings, Karen Oberg of Buffalo, Duane (Sherri) Marschel of Winter Gardens, FL, Dave (Donna) Marschel of Annandale, Dennis Marschel of Buffalo, Doug (Coleen) Marschel of Boseman, MT, Darrel Marschel (fiancee, Roberta Monk) of Annandale, Judy (Guy) Negley of Maple Lake, and Don (Dorothy) Marschel of Buffalo; special caregivers, Deb and Nell; many nieces and nephews along with their families, other family members and friends.
