DeLoris M. Weismann, age 88, of Maple Lake died Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at the Lake Ridge Care Center, Buffalo.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. Michael Izen officiating. Burial will follow at St. Timothy's Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Monday. Memorials are preferred to the Struther's Parkinson's Center to be used towards Parkinson's research.

DeLoris Mildred Weismann was born June 21, 1920 to Adolf & Anna (Natchmann) Wendt in Springfield and graduated from Springfield High School in 1938. She worked at Security State Bank, Maple Lake where she met the love of her life Don Weismann; they were married September 1, 1947 in Maple Lake. She was a member of St. Timothy's Church, Council of Catholic Women, and American Legion Post 131 Auxiliary. DeLoris was a homemaker and enjoyed her flower garden, lake home, rides on the pontoon, dancing, and trips in the motor home with a stop at the casino.

She is survived by her husband, Don of Maple Lake; daughters & son in laws, Sandra & Curt Bode of Rice Lake, WI, Debra & Ron Sheldon of Maple Lake; sister in law, Pat Farrell of St. Paul; 3 grandchildren, Tricia (Steven) Iacono, Christopher Sheldon, Ashley (Matt) Vellance; 2 great grandchildren, Makenzie & Tyler Iacono; step granddaughter, Megan (Paul) Grudt; step great granddaughter, Malayna Grudt; also many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her 3 brothers Norman, Arnie & Carl Wendt and a sister Luella 'Dolly' Vote.

The pallbearers will be Ron & Christopher Sheldon, Curt Bode, Steven Iacono, Matt Vellance and Tim Doherty. The music for the service will be provided by Sarah Goelz, Krista Elsenpeter Tarbox and Joe Thomas. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Maple Lake.
