Deloris I. Mikkanen, age 81, of Annandale died October 13, 2015 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale, with Rev. Ruth Hograbe officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Deloris Ione Mikkanen was born August 31, 1934 to Edgar and Ella (Orson) Osberg.  She graduated from Kerkhoven High School with the Class of 1952.  On September 20, 1953, Deloris was united in marriage to John Manley at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Willmar; he preceded her in death in 1964.  She showed courage and strength in raising her three daughters alone.  On April 24, 1976, she was married to Clemens Mikkanen at St. John's Lutheran Church in Annandale; he preceded her in death in 2003.  Deloris worked as a seamstress for Wonderals in Buffalo and Carlson Doll Company in Maple Lake; she also worked in assembly at Functional Industries in Buffalo.  Deloris enjoyed gardening, puzzles, spending time at the cabin on Briggs Lake and being with her grandchildren and family.

She is survived by her daughters & their spouses Marilyn Manley & David Balster of Avon, IN, Gayle & James Sandell of Buffalo, MN and Julie & Kenneth Pfarr of Indianapolis, IN; sister Lorraine Stickney of Standish, ME; 5 grandchildren Brandon, Nathan, Josh, Ryan, Kallie; 2 step grandchildren Steve and Jason; 6 great grandchildren Grant, Ella, Noah, Nicholas, Abby, Grayson; and 3 step great grandchildren Daniel, Christopher and Delaney.  She is preceded in death by her parents Edgar and Ella Osberg; husbands John Manley and Clemens Mikkanen; sisters Evonne Foote and Kathryn Bruehl; and brothers-in-law Gaylord Foote, Charles Bruehl and Frederic Stickney.

The pallbearers will be Brandon and Nathan Kotila, Ryan and Kallie Sandell, Jason and Steve Pfarr and Natan Noguera Lopez.  Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
