Dayvian Carter Nystrom, age 28 days, was born May 19, 2008 at the St. Cloud Hospital and died Sunday June 15, 2008 at the University of Minnesota Children's Hospital in Minneapolis from complications of Galen AVM.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2008 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Kimball. Rev. Dave Milz will officiate and burial will be in the North Kingston Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Thursday and from 9-10 a.m. Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball. A prayer service will be held 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Dayvian is survived by his mother, Jenni Nystrom of Kimball; grandparents, Sonja and Chad Lyon of Kimball and Gary Nystrom of Moose Lake; great grandparents, Wanda and Kenny Schmidt of Kimball, Rosalie and Gene Carda of Mora, and Carolyn Nystrom of Watkins; aunts, Susan Nystrom and her boyfriend, Harmon Henck of St. Cloud, and Heidi Rosenow and her husband, Scott of Kimball; cousins, Haden Rosenow and Bryce Nystrom. He is preceded in death by his brother, Kayben; sister, Sara and great grandfather, Gerald Nystrom.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Nystrom and Cassandra Schmidt. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
