Obituary
Dawn C. Rokala, age 49, of Kimball died Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Funeral Services held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with Rev. Peter J. Martinson officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in French Lake Township, Wright County.
Dawn Carol Rokala was born March 23, 1964 in Litchfield to Loren and Geraldine (Johnson) Horsma. She married Terrence R. Rokala on July 11, 1980 and for the past two years they have lived in Kimball. Dawn was a Certified Nursing Assistant and had worked for REM and Camp Friendship. She enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, and dogs; volunteering at the Wright County Humane Society.
She is survived by her husband Terry of Kimball, children Elizabeth (Jason) Ranta of Villard, Joshua Rokala of Kimball, Jason Rokala of Clearwater, grandchildren Aliya, Malory, Daniel, Henry & Lauren, mother Geri Horsma of Dassel, brother Jay (Kayleen) Horsma of Menahga, and sister Jan (Tom) Heinonen of Cokato. Her father Loren Horsma preceded her in death.
