Obituary
David A. Walter, age 81, of Lauderdale, MN, died Thursday, October 24, 2013.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with Rev. Ruth Hograbe officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
David Allan Walter was born March 30, 1932 near Bird Island, Minnesota to August and Lydia (Pierson) Walter. He went to school at District 138 and after the family moved to Lake Sylvia he graduated from Annandale High School with the class of 1951. He worked in St. Paul and married Charlotte Cramer. They made their home in Lauderdale and had 2 sons, Jeff and Robert.
David loved to fish, garden, and play cards. He enjoyed his dogs and cats and the many hours he spent at the cabin on Lake Sylvia.
He is survived by his sons, Jeff (Monika) of Lebanon, Pennsylvania and Robert of St. Paul; brother, Floyd (Una) Walter of Litchfield, MN. David is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte, and brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Muriel Walter.
Jeff Walter will serve as urnbearer. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
