Obituary
David J. Janisch Sr., age 67, of South Haven died Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at the Buffalo Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 18 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Kimball with Fr. Thomas Olson officiating. Burial will follow at St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to services at the church.
David John Janisch, Sr. was born March 3, 1942 in St. Cloud to the late John and Theresa (Nothnagel) Janisch. He was a 1960 graduate of Kimball High School and married Scheran Kriedeman on November 23, 1963. Dave was a farmer and member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. He enjoyed deer hunting, card playing, and time spent in the tractor & at the restaurant with the guys.
He is survived by his wife, Scheran of South Haven; three children, LaNor Janisch of South Haven, David Jr. & his wife Katherine of Watkins, Todd & his friend Carol Root of Annandale; six grandchildren, Ryan, Emily, John, Jacob, Jordon, & Jessica Janisch; two brothers & their wives, Doug & Joan of Kimball and Quentin & Marilyn of South Haven.
The pallbearers will be Dave's grandchildren and Frosty Schiefelbein & the St. Anne's Choir will provide the music for the service. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
