David R. Beffel, age 43, of Maple Lake, died Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Maple Lake with visitation one hour prior. Fr. John Meyer will officiate. Services will be livestreamed on the funeral home website.

David Robert Beffel was born February 15, 1978 in Rock Island, Illinois to Mark and Wendy (Deters) Beffel. He grew up in Cedar Falls, IA where he loved to play sports, go fishing, and get himself into trouble. At the age of 9, David was in a drowning accident that changed his life and left him disabled. He lived with his parents in Cedar Falls, IA, Golden Valley, MN, Two Rivers, WI, and for the last 6 years on Maple Lake in Maple Lake. In recent years, he enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, sitting on the deck, looking at the lake, and gathering with family, especially at Christmas.

David is survived by his parents, Mark and Wendy Jo; siblings, Dylan of Ham Lake and Damian (Allyson) of Annandale; and nieces and nephews, Noah, Aurora, Audrey, Marketta and Max.
