David N. Becker, age 57 of South Haven died Saturday, January 26, 2008 at his home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Kimball. Fr. Virgil Braun will officiate and burial will be in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to the service, Wednesday at the church. A prayer service will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
David Nickolas Becker was born October 24, 1950 in St. Cloud to William and Frances (Eichers) Becker. He graduated from St. Boniface School in Cold Spring in 1968. David served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. He is a member of the Wat-Kim-Valley VFW Post 5460 and the Catholic Order of Foresters. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycling and conservation.
He is survived by his brothers, Duane (Jelda) of Kimball, Dennis of Kimball and Delton (Dorothy) of Florence, MT; sister-in-law, Deb; eleven nieces and nephews; and twelve great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Daryl.
Pallbearers will be Robin Dockery, Sara Schultz, Brian, Derek, Jillian, Luke, Cindy, Jenn and Mike Becker. Frosty Schiefelbein and the St. Anne Choir will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Kimball.
