Obituary
Daniel J. Stumpf, age 85, of Annandale died Monday, August 18, 2003 at the Howard Lake Good Samaritan Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 21, 2003 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale. Burial will follow in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Maple Lake. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale.
Daniel Joseph Stumpf was born August 17, 1918 at Buffalo to Louis and Wilhelmina (Behrenbrinker) Stumpf. He lived most of his life in the Maple Lake and Annandale area and was a truck driver for Stemm Transfer, St. Cloud. He married Thelma Kamm on March 3, 1985 in Maple Lake. Dan was a member of St. Ignatius Church and enjoyed his family and observing wildlife.
He is survived by daughters & their husbands, Leona & Robert Zimmerman of Hudson, FL, Joyce & Jack Schulte of Eau Claire, WI, Juanita & Lloyd Knapek of Foley, Diana & Greg Paumen of Maple Lake; son in law, Neil Johnson of Longville; 20 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma; daughters, Beverly Stumpf & Janetta Johnson; grandchildren, Vicky Cummings & Robert Scott Zimmerman; brothers, Louis, Robert, Victor, & Howard; and sisters, Janetta Stumpf & Veronica Reznicek.
The pallbearers will be Dan`s sons in law and the music will be provided by Dureen Gasser.
