Mr. Curtis A. `Curt` Miller, age 42, of Monticello died Saturday, May 6, 2006 at the Monticello-Big Lake Hospital, Monticello after a courageous battle with prostrate cancer. He fought valiantly for 2 plus years.
Memorial services will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake with Rev. Dennis L. Johnson officiating. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral chapel in Maple Lake.
Curtis Allen `Curt` Miller was born on December 30, 1963 in Robbinsdale to Allen F. and Diane B. (Bray) Miller. Curt served in the U.S. Army from 1982-1986. He married Patty Scholtec on April 15, 1989 and they later divorced. He married Lori S. Pribyl on October 14, 2000 in Monticello. Curt was a Respiratory Therapist in the Minneapolis area for 10 years and for the past 5 years he owned and operated Custom Flooring Installation, Monticello. He has lived in Monticello for the past 8 years and was a member of the Monticello Country Club the past 12 years and the Delano American Legion Club. Curt loved his family, golfing, softball, music, fishing, hunting, and traveling.
Curt is survived by his wife, Lori of Monticello; children, Kaira Miller of Robbinsdale, Samuel Schaffer of Monticello, Kayla Miller of Robbinsdale, and Trenton Miller of Monticello; mother, Diane B. Miller of Coon Rapids; sisters, Debora (Ivan) Carver of Robbinsdale, and Christi Miller of Zimmerman; brother, Troy Miller of Minneapolis; and grandmother, Georgianna Bray of Monticello. He was preceded in death by his father; and grandfather, Robert Bray.
