Clara B. Jude, age 87, of Maple Lake died Monday, September 19, 2005 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2005 at St. Timothy`s Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. Mark Huberty officiating. Burial will follow in St. Timothy`s Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Clara Barbara Jude was born July 21, 1918 in St. Cloud to Clemens and Frances (Imholte) Landwehr. She married Francis I. Jude on February 22, 1941 in St. Augusta and he preceded her in death on May 21, 1998. She was a homemaker and from 1960-1969 was the kitchen manager for Maple Lake Schools. She was a charter member of Camp Friendship Auxiliary and member of St. Timothy`s Church, Council of Catholic Women & Catholic Order of Foresters. She enjoyed square dancing, quilting and card playing, especially bridge.
She is survived by her children & their spouses, Wayne & Arlene of Paynesville, Gary & Cathy of Maple Lake, Judy & Ray Tschumperlin of Eden Valley, Alan & Kathy of Annandale, Glenn & Darlene of Dayton, Bradley & Mary of Sauk Rapids; brothers, sisters & their spouses, Bruno & Agnes Landwehr of St. Cloud, Rainer Landwehr of Cold Spring, Roman & Angie Landwehr of St. Augusta, Marcella & John Murray of Springfield, IL, Mildred & Stan Hara of Minneapolis, Vivian & Dan Backes of Richmond, Janet & Irv Walz of Cold Spring; brother in law, John Undersander of St. Joseph; 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, sister, Delphine Undersander, brothers, Harold & Clifford, and an infant brother, Eldred.
The pallbearers will be Ron, Randy, Tim, Rick, Steve, Russ & Tony Jude and Dan Tschumperlin. The music for the service will be provided by St. Timothy`s Resurrection Choir with Marge Pavlik, organist.
