Mr. Clair D. McClay, age 76, of 1780 Donnelly Drive NW, Buffalo died Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at Parkview Care Center, Buffalo where he had been a resident the past 2 weeks.
Private family inurnment was held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
Clair D. McClay was born June 2, 1926 in Minneapolis to Paul and Isla (Ferrell) McClay. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and married Joyce Vickery on December 6, 1947 in Beeville, TX. He was a salesman and company officer for Harmon Glass Co., Minneapolis several years and has lived on Maple Lake since 1972. He was a member of Zuhrah Temple of Minneapolis, Zuhrah Shrine Legion of Honor, Lynnhurst Lodge #317 of Hopkins, Scottish Rite of Minneapolis, Maple Lake VFW Post #7664, and Maple Lake American Legion Post #131.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce of Buffalo and was preceded in death by a brother, Darwin.
