Cindy A. (Gohman) Croat, age 51, of South Haven died Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the Mayo Clinic from complications of Leukemia. A Gathering and Time of Sharing will be held from 5-8 P.M., Monday, August 12, 2013 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball.
Cindy Ann Croat was born in Loring Maine on October 5, 1961 to the late James and Kayoko (Eto) Gohman. She graduated from St. Cloud Apollo High School in 1980. She earned a degree in nursing and worked as oncology RN at the St. Cloud Hospital. She was a fun loving caring person, a joy to be around. The family wishes to thank her relatives, friends, co-workers and the medical staff at St Cloud and Mayo who helped with her care and support during her battle with Leukemia. The outpouring of support from everyone in the South Haven area during her battle with Leukemia was tremendous. She was lucky to live in such a great place.
She is survived by daughters Nichole Gohman, Jessica Croat, sisters Janet Gohman and Penny Ruehle, brother Michael Gohman, and her companion Alfred Schindele.
