Christena M. Fox, age 76, of Annandale, died Monday, May 12, 2025, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Christena's family will be hosting a Celebration of Life at a later date. Christena Marie Dahlberg was born on June 15, 1948, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Bengt and Mary (Long) Dahlberg. She grew up in Minneapolis, where she attended school before moving to the South Haven and Kimball communities. Christena married Terry Nelson, and together they made a home near Lake Carnelian, where they raised their two children. Although their paths eventually parted and they divorced. Later, she moved to Michigan for a time, where she married Rick Fox before eventually returning to her Minnesota roots. Throughout her life, Christena worked various jobs, including bartending at Main Street Pub in Kimball and Midway in Crosby. Yet, it was in the company of her loved ones where she truly found joy. Christena treasured the moments spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren-her heart swelled with love as she watched her family grow. Family gatherings, hugs, and shared laughter brought her the greatest happiness. She found peace in the simple joys of life: gathering with friends, singing karaoke with her best friend and roommate, Jean Och, indulging in her love for shopping, riding on the back of a motorcycle, and unwinding with her favorite computer games. Christena is survived by her children Becky (Dennis) Huhn of Annandale and Kirk (Donna) Nelson of Litchfield; grandchildren Andrew (Stephanie) Huhn, Justin, Zach and Michael Huhn, Brianna (Joe) Nelson Sazama, Yvette (Patrick) Schlopko, Leah Trottier, and Paul Trottier; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Emily, Olivia, Chase, Lillian, Aaron, Caitlin, Preston, Johnathan, and Rhylee; great-great-grandchildren Zoey, Ailah, Josie, McKenna, Kinley, Naveah; brother Kevin Dahlberg; and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, William Dahlberg.
