Charlotte M. Weigelt, age 77, of Buffalo, formerly of Kimball, died Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Cottagewood Senior Community, Buffalo.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Kimball with Fr. Thomas Olson as the Celebrant. Burial will be at a later date in the Herman-Weigelt Cemetery in Waskish. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to the services, Friday at the church. Parish Prayers will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Charlotte Mary (Herman) Weigelt was born June 26, 1935 to Charles and Anna (Cain) Herman. She graduated from Keliher High School with the Class of 1953. On September 4, 1954, she was united in marriage to Clifward L. Weigelt in Minneapolis and he preceded her in death on January 31, 2005. She was a member of the St. Anne Catholic Church in Kimball. Charlotte enjoyed gardening, fishing, garage sales, antiques and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Carla Austin of Brookings, OR, Anna (Walter) Donnay of Andover, Barbara (Chris) Barksdale of Sarasota, FL and Butch Weigelt of Buffalo; sisters Helen (Bart) Weigert of Galveston, TX and Kathy (Wayne) Beehler of Bemidji; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Anna; husband Clifward; sons Stephen and Dean; daughters Christi Ann Benson and Veronica Weigelt; and great granddaughter Lucy June Faraone.
The pallbearers will be Chad, Ryan, Travis, Ben and Justin Weigelt, Dale Faraone and Henry Donnay. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
