Charles H. Geisler, age 75, of Annandale formerly of Bloomington died Tuesday, December 30, 2008 in his home on Cedar Lake, surrounded by family & friends.

Charles Henry Geisler was born July 4, 1933 to Al and Jessie (McLees) Geisler in Valley City, ND. He married Marlie Lokken on June 10, 1956. He was employed by Northwest Airlines as an airline pilot for over 25 years, retiring in 1991.

Chuck was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to all. His passions included: spoiling his beloved dogs, traveling by way of train, boat, or RV, and playing the piano.
He was generous in his support of individuals and organizations in need.

He is survived by his three children, Dwight (Lori) of Bloomington, Mary Danford of Annandale, Rob (Kristin) of Lakeville; brother, Alon (June) of Sun City, Arizona; and five grand children, Mallory & Caitie Danford, Brad, Madi, and Jack Geisler. His wife Marlie, sister Oral Koch, and longtime friend Harold Atkins preceded him in death.

Social remembrances will be held from 1-3 PM January 10th, 2009 at Waterfront Bar & Supper Club, 13195 Bayview Rd, South Haven and also from 11-2 PM January 24th, 2009 at David Fong's Restaurant, 9329 Lyndale Ave South, Bloomington. Memorials are preferred to the Crossroads Animal Shelter.
