Carl A. Reid, age 69, of Clearwater died Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Memorial services will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2007 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with Rev. Ken Felska officiating. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Carl Anderson Reid was born June 4, 1938 in Emmo, Ontario, Canada to Ford and Lavera Reid. He married Sharon Noggle on July 17, 1965 at the Clearwater United Methodist Church, where they are still members. Carl worked as a truck driver, monument setter, stonecutter and engraver at Kollmann Monumental for 36 years, retiring in 2006. He enjoys horses and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sheri; children Chad of Brainerd, Craig (Char) of Clearwater, Dawn (Jake) Goenner of Sauk Rapids and Cole of Clearwater; grandchildren, Camryn, Taylor and Austin Reid and Samantha Goenner; brothers and sisters, Chuck, Phyllis, Katie, Andrea, Elise and Shelly. His parents and brother, Robert preceded him in death.
Urn bearers will be Chad Reid, Craig Reid, Cole Reid and Dawn Goenner. Arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
