Bruce S. Dalbec, age 68, of Maple Lake, formerly of Delano, died Sunday, July 19, 2026, at his home.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-5:00 p.m., with a 5:00 p.m. Prayer Service on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. A gathering will follow at The V in Maple Lake. Burial will be at St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery in Maple Lake.

Bruce Scott Dalbec was born on August 20, 1957, in Buffalo, Minnesota to Bruce and Gloria (Boggs) Dalbec. He was raised on the Dalbec family farm in rural Maple Lake. Bruce was baptized and confirmed at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Maple Lake.

After graduating from Maple Lake High School in 1975, he dedicated himself to the craft of masonry and concrete, following in the footsteps of his family. In 3D Concrete, which he owned and operated until its closing in 2017, Bruce demonstrated unwavering commitment and expertise in his field, continuing to work with the Bricklayers and Allied Craftsworkers Local 1 until retiring in 2022.

Bruce is fondly remembered for his dry sense of humor, quick wit, and his big heart. He found joy in the great outdoors, whether snowmobiling, or boating on Cross Lake, where he had a cabin for many years. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, golfing, and passionately following NASCAR. Bruce cherished the bonds of family more than anything else. He loved watching his boys' success and witnessing his grandchildren pursue their passions.

He is survived by his sons, Derrick "DJ" (Kristy) of Buffalo, Darin (Ashley) of Clearwater, Dan (Heidi) of Annandale, and Cody of Buffalo; grandchildren, Cooper, Mason, Brody, Dylan, Parker, Dalton, and Hayden; mother, Gloria Dalbec of Maple Lake; siblings, Terri (Stan) Fuller of Maple Lake and Kristi Dalbec (fiance, Jimmy McDonald) of Plymouth; and nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Bruce and brother, Todd.

Bruce's sons will serve as urn bearers. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Maple Lake.
