Brian Lawrence Wilson was born on December 15, 1951, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to James and Bernadine (Dahlman) Wilson. Brian was co-valedictorian of Coon Rapids High School Class of 1970. He went on to attend the University of Minnesota, where he embraced college life as an active member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity.

In 1990, Brian made Rockford, Minnesota, his home, where he enjoyed nature and the outdoors. He especially loved hiking and exploring places such as the North Shore of Lake Superior and Crex Meadows State Wildlife Area in Wisconsin. Music was another important part of Brian's life. For 50 years, he and his dear friend, Jim Fuller, shared their love of music. Together, they founded The Liars, where Brian played bass guitar and created lasting memories with friends, family, and fellow musicians.

Brian's contributions extended beyond music; he was an active member of the Minnesota Comic Book Association. He will be remembered for his musical talents and adventurous spirit.

Brian is survived by his sister, Nancy (Thomas) Sheldon of Northfield; nephew, Matthew (Lindsay) Sheldon of Orr; great-nephew, James and great-niece, Grace. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Bernadine; aunts, Shar Dircks, Delores Borkoski, and Betty Barott; and uncle, Keith Dahlman.
