Obituary

Brandon M. Beckman, age 21, of Annandale joined his Lord and Savior in heaven January 12, 2010 following a motor vehicle accident.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2010 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. Dave Nelson officiating. Friends may call at the Church on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday one hour prior to services. There will be a prayer service and time of sharing 7 p.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church.

Brandon Michael Beckman was born to Doug and Cathy Beckman on February 26, 1988. He was raised and lived in Annandale Minnesota where he graduated from High School in 2006. Brandon loved playing Football, Hockey and Baseball. He realized his dream and goal of becoming a United States Marine in August 2006. While serving as an Infantryman he completed a tour of duty in Fallujah protecting the Iraqi people. He selflessly served our Country until July 2009 when he returned home to Annandale. Brandon was employed by Beckman Hardwood Floors, working alongside his Dad. Brandon lived his life with no regrets. He cherished and was loyal to God, his Country, family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Doug and Cathy Beckman of Annandale, sister Bridget Beckman of Plymouth, love of his life Jennifer Lopez Garcia of Santa Monica CA, grandparents Don and Shirley Figge of Maple Lake and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Judy Figge, paternal grandparents Pam and Paul Beckman, aunt Claudia (Beckman) Dockendorf and uncle David Figge.

The pallbearers will be Devin Dougherty, Brian Bruggeman, Steve Rasset, Alex Bronder, Kyle McCreight, Dan Thurk and Travis Pitzl. The honorary pallbearers will be Brandon's Marine Comrades. The music for the service will be provided by Rev. Dave Nelson, Mark Nelson, Mary Barkley Brown, Zane Schaefer, Derek Bruns and Jason Koets. Arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
