Brad J. Hannula, age 76, of Annandale died Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at the Annandale Care Center.
Graveside services will be held 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis; Meet in Assembly Area # 2. The arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
Brad Jerome Hannula was born December 5, 1933 at Litchfield to Edwin and Helen (Widlund) Hannula. He was a 1951 graduate of Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis and served as a member of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Roz Kloetzke on December 29, 1956 in Minneapolis. Brad was a telecommunication technician for 34 years retiring in 1984 from AT&T in St. Cloud. He was a member of Maple Lake VFW Post 7664 and Buffalo American Legion Post 270. He enjoyed fishing and playing cribbage & washers while spending the winter in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
He is survived by his wife Roz of Annandale, daughter Lori Hannula (Kevin Ballantyne) of Houston, TX, grandchildren Krysti & Christopher, brother John (Ginny) Hannula of Annandale, sister Gloria Schultz of Ramsey, sister in law Marilyn Kloetzke of Monticello, aunt Phyllis (Vernon) Anderson of Minneapolis, also several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Brian, step father Bill Helmerick, brothers in law Howard Schultz and Ronald Kloetzke.
